QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with an emphasis in Finance.
  • 5+ years of relevant Finance experience. Preferably in Product Development, but not required

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

Harbinger Motors is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to lead budgeting and forecasting for the Bill of Material (BOM), Engineering NRE and Tooling. This position is a unique opportunity to lead strategic initiatives that are critical to achieving company goals for our current product line, while also working hand-in-hand with Engineering on our next generation of products. A successful candidate will be able to create visibility and highlight opportunities from the numbers, build strong relationships with technical leaders, and is self-motivated with a can-do attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become the BOM subject matter expert; analyzing changes and reporting variances
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, providing clear and concise summaries of BOM costs and impacts
  • Lead strategic BOM initiatives. Partnering closely with Engineering, from DRE’s to the CTO, to understand financial tradeoffs for proposed design changes
  • Partner with Engineering leaders with budgeting, forecasting and compiling targets for both BOM and investment for future programs
  • Partner with the Technical Program Management team to understand changes in the BOM and analyze engineering change orders (ECO) by being on the Change Review Board (CRB)
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Engineering to insure data integrity in the BOM is accurate
  • Continuously improve BOM management processes and tools to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Ad hoc analysis as necessary to support leadership in the decision making process. Transforming data into actionable insights and recommendations
