POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Financial Analyst Lead to oversee and support key financial management and analysis efforts. This position is pending award and will play a critical role in overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and delivering financial insight to drive organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal financial management and project leadership.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, federal financial reporting, and/or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of federal financial systems and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Project Manager, overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, analysis, and internal control activities.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis and develop design documents that outline proposed financial solutions.
  • Create and implement training plans; conduct training sessions to educate stakeholders on financial processes and tools.
  • Review general ledger balances to identify required journal vouchers or adjusting entries.
  • Monitor and reconcile federal financial statements, including SF-132 and SF-133 reports.
  • Conduct quarterly Undelivered Orders (UDO) reviews and perform monthly Unmatched Cost Reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain internal control policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct OMB A-123 testing to ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Support special project analysis and financial oversight related to programs such as the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Corporation for Travel Promotion (CTP).
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop financial strategies that support program objectives.
