OVERVIEW

The Customer Finance Organization is a place where you can take your career to new heights working on the front line with our Regional Grocery teams, supporting both Retail & Wholesale customer teams ($1.8B reported net sales annually). We are looking for a high-performing Senior Financial Analyst, who has a passion to drive top & bottom-line results, in a dynamic sales environment. In this role, you will partner closely with the Regional Grocery Sales teams to grow volume, manage trade spending (used for merchandising execution at the store level) & drive sales in partnership with the North America Retail (NAR) Operating Units. As part of this team, you will receive exposure to customer joint business planning, competitive/category landscape assessments, and pricing & merchandising analyses. This role is highly visible with exposure to both the Regional Grocery VP, as well as the NAR Sales Finance VP.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage the monthly sales/trade estimates & drive alignment between customer & Operating Unit strategies
  • Identify trade efficiency opportunities and optimize trade expenses to maximize sales & profit for NAR
  • Collaborate with Sales & Trade Finance in best practice sharing & process optimization
  • Partner with customer teams to develop winning strategies to compete in an ever-changing, competitive marketplace

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.A. or B.S in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
  • Years of work experience: 3+ years
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational and prioritization skills, who excels in a team environment
  • Solid attention to detail and the ability to think holistically
  • Constructive curiosity to drive change and make an impact on the business
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly communicate the key details into a broader summary for various levels of management
  • Process-oriented with the drive to enhance how we work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Finance experience with Sales Finance or a Business Unit
