OVERVIEW

The Sr. Business Solutions Analyst role has a strong focus on finance technologies and enterprise planning. This role will be responsible for partnering with finance and accounting stakeholders to enhance forecasting, budgeting, enterprise reporting, and other financial planning processes. Additionally, this position will support broader IT and business functions, ensuring effective technology solutions for financial and operational needs.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience delivering enterprise technology solutions, with a focus on finance and ERP systems.
• Extensive experience implementing ERP platforms, particularly in finance and accounting functions.
• Experience leading teams of analysts, solution architects, or developers in financial technology projects.
• Experience working on complex financial transformation projects requiring deep ERP and financial planning expertise.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Minneapolis, MN 5543

• This entails financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights on financial performance.
• Work with finance and accounting stakeholders on various technology projects.
• Lead and support ERP implementation efforts, ensuring seamless integration of financial processes into the Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations platform or other modern planning systems.
• Engage with key business partners and business analysts.
• Collaborate with Senior Solution Architects and Business Analysts to drive technology solutions that improve finance operations, enhance collaboration, and provide key business insights.
• Assist in the development of test scripts, test plans, and activation plans with key stakeholders. Document system configurations for IT teams and provide onboarding documentation for business users.
• Stay updated on best practices in financial planning, reporting, and ERP implementations, leveraging industry insights to drive innovation.
• Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally as needed. (10-20%)
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts within the team.
