Senior Firmware Engineer We are seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware for advanced semiconductor products. In this role, you will work closely with hardware, silicon design, and validation teams to deliver robust, high‑performance firmware across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and debug low‑level firmware for microcontrollers, SoCs, and custom hardware • Bring up new silicon and support board‑level initialization and diagnostics • Optimize performance, power, and reliability of embedded systems • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and resolve system issues • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in firmware development Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field • 8+ years of experience in embedded/firmware development • Strong proficiency in C/C++ and low‑level debugging • Experience with RTOS, device drivers, and hardware bring‑up More information about NXP in Italy... #LI-6710 NXP Semiconductors N.V.
