ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

As a Senior Global Copywriter & Conceptor (all genders) in the Creative Direction / Global Marketing team, you will own the ToV and lead the creation of Brand and Global Campaign Messaging in collaboration with the world’s leading creative agencies. Your role ensures messaging is conceptualised, edited and transcreated across channels and markets. You will also shape the ToV vision for the company, as well as its propositions. With a strong fashion background, exceptional English skills and experience developing adaptable, impactful copy, you’ll craft messaging that resonates globally across multiple platforms and formats.
You understand Zalando’s vision and stakeholder needs, seamlessly integrating both to produce outstanding creatives in close alignment with the Creative Director and Global Marketing Team.

WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO DO:

  • Drive, enable and develop outstanding Tone of Voice strategy and guidelines for our Zalando Brand and all brand touchpoints.
  • Acting as a consultant, guardian and quality control on ToV and messaging on global campaigns and editorial marketing initiatives, working in close collaboration with the world’s best-in-class creative agencies.
  • Elevate the quality and consistency of our global creative messaging and copy output across all consumer facing touchpoints, ensuring on brand execution, fashion competency and approachable yet impactful messaging.
  • Guide and direct professionally, give clear direction and be the go-to person when it comes to base copy development, transcreation and campaign messaging for 360 campaign conceptualisation and social media campaign execution.
