As the Senior Global Product Manager for Urinary Incontinence, you will play a key role on the Global Home Care Platform team within Urology and Critical Care (UCC). Reporting to the Global Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our urinary incontinence portfolio.

The candidate will be instrumental in driving global product line strategies, product life cycle management, leading VOC activities, defining market requirements, and developing growth opportunities in new and existing segments of interest.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Global Marketing Manager to lead the global strategy evolution, development of B2B / DTC marketing initiatives, and execution of innovation projects for the Home Care portfolio. In this role, you will deploy best-in-class marketing practices to deliver differentiated value for BD and our customers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years in product and/or marketing management required with a demonstrated track record in identifying market opportunities, market segmentation, targeted marketing, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and go-to-market models and strategies.
  • Experience in DTC marketing is preferred, including digital marketing, ecommerce, TV advertising, as well as sales, operations, and marketing functions.
  • Ability to understand and translate scientific, clinical, and technical information into marketing and customer benefits is required.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, organization, prioritization, planning, goal setting, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple competing projects across functions and regions is required.
  • Global experience is preferred.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business or Life Sciences. MBA is desired.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of multigeneration product portfolio strategy through coordination with cross-functional teams within a matrixed organization.
  • Drive the new product development and introduction process, ensuring successful launch and commercialization.
  • Work cross-functionally to handle the overall life cycle of assigned product lines, including product changes, inventory needs, production planning, and quality to ensure products are positioned competitively globally.
  • Evaluate and craft financially sound business proposals for new products and partnerships that will serve to expand portfolio revenue.
  • Collect and supervise voice of customer, driven insights, market, and technology trends to shape strategies and roadmaps.
  • Ensure assigned products are receptive to market needs, driving continuous improvements where needed to maintain and/or improve market penetration and share position.
  • Establish pricing positioning, supervise product pricing vs. the competition, lead product-specific price/margin improvement initiatives, and participate in global price changes.
  • Partner with R&D, Operations, Sales, and Innovation teams to adjust the product line, products, and related features to drive both market share and financial results.
  • Conduct business analyses for assigned products/product lines to support business planning and generate actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing and commercial teams to establish and execute marketing plans and demand generation to achieve product line objectives.
  • Ensure appropriate technical support for sales and field applications teams, including assistance with communicating and positioning products.
  • Optimally communicate product forecasts, working with global regions, planners, and supply chain to ensure accurate demand planning and product build; actively represent in Demand, Supply, and Operational Planning.
