Computer and Systems Knowledge: Possesses knowledge of Microsoft suite, with proficiency in Excel. Utilizes in-depth conceptual, practical and functional knowledge of SAP ERP and Kinaxis Rapid Response planning systems. Leverages knowledge in own function and other related functions to recommend new and/or improved processes, impacting various teams across BSC. Data Analytics: Possesses the ability to conduct advanced analytics on complex problems and large datasets. Proficient in the use of advanced analytics tools and creates complex models. Translates analytical results into understandable business outcomes and creates compelling cases for decision makers. Leads team in analytic-driven projects as it relates to divisional forecasts and inventory Inventory Management: Centralized divisional ownership of inventory design and control for the team. Inventory design refers to leveraging the segmentation methodology for our business along with leveraging our MEIO (multi-echelon inventory optimization) system in Rapid Response, which works together to set the optimized inventory for our business to support desired service levels. Control refers to monitoring and adjusting based on actuals vs. the set design. It also includes exception reporting where the inventory design is changed to be mis-aligned to the desired plan as well as actual inventory performance vs. design & vs. the financial inventory plan. Includes partnering with product specific planners on the best decisions to support the business. Manage Forecast Inputs / Improve Forecast Accuracy. Works with all business stakeholders to set the forecast to meet global demand for complex supply chains and/or business critical products. Initiate, oversee activities and explains difficult or sensitive information to influence and improve forecast accuracy and reduce forecast bias. Receives minimal guidance. Owns demand management portion of the SI&OP process for the US Region, including facilitation of the meetings with the following teams in attendance: Finance, marketing, field inventory management, global supply chain demand planners This person is the global functional expert at forecasting for the entire IC planning team (including all focus areas - Coronary Therapies, Structural Heart, and Watchman). Functional expertise includes the use of statistical forecasting models and potentially AI solutions in the future. Manage product lifecycle events effectively (launches, transitions and EOLife/EOService): Independently collaborate with end to end supply chain partners to develop and maintain product lifecycle SI&OP templates, driving business decisions. Identifies and leads collaboration on changes to inventory strategy as needed. Drive decision making on issues through SI&OP process. Lead supply chain on more complex and critical product development, sustaining engineering or EOL/EOS team, facilitating end to end supply chain event readiness and decision making. Master Data Maintenance: Ensures GSCP-owned fields are complete and accurate for the products in their portfolio. Remain current on training for SOP's and Work Instructions regarding ERP and planning system master data. May be knowledgeable on master data fields managed in other functions to proactively address issues by working cross-functionally. Project Management: Execute established project plans. Executes required monthly/scheduled tasks with limited oversight and applies knowledge of business and industry best practices and how own area integrates with others to achieve objectives to drive results. Participates in projects or project steps within a broader or cross-functional project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives. Monitors and/or adjusts project plans as needed and works with stakeholders, holding them accountable for their tasks. Escalates issues to management and solves complex and diverse problems, takes a new perspective on existing solutions and exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Leadership: Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements, often broader, cross-functional projects. Supply Chain Design: Driving functional expertise within a franchise or product line to establish the end to end supply chain design. (e.g. New Product Launches, Acquisitions, Integrations, Site Transfers Optimized Product Flow, Resiliency) Bachelor's degree required. Supply Chain, Analytics, Operations focus preferred. 6+ years' experience in supply chain, materials management, manufacturing planning or inventory control function. Demand forecasting and inventory control experience preferred. Working experience with SAP and Rapid Response or an equivalent DRP, MPS, MRP, or ERP System. Advanced PC skills utilizing such software programs as Teams, Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, problem solve and influence change. Global Supply Chain experience preferred. APICS certification preferred. Master's degree preferred. Medical device experience preferred.
