Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Global Supply Manager to lead strategic sourcing for Interior systems and components. This senior-level role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving commercial negotiations to support Lucid’s Interior commodity portfolio. You will serve as a key interface between Engineering, Finance, Supplier Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver cost-effective, innovative solutions that meet program timelines and quality standards. You Will: Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for Interior commodities (e.g., seats, trim, cockpit modules), balancing cost, quality, delivery, and innovation. Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and program requirements. Prepare and issue RFQs/RFIs, analyze supplier proposals, and present sourcing recommendations to executive stakeholders. Negotiate complex commercial agreements, including pricing, tooling, and non-recurring engineering (NRE) costs. Drive contract development and ensure compliance with Lucid’s terms and conditions. Manage purchase order issuance for prototype and production tooling, ensuring alignment with program milestones and budget targets. Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks related to delivery, quality, or cost. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply challenges and drive continuous improvement. Provide regular updates on sourcing status, cost tracking, and supplier health to internal leadership. Travel up to 15–25% for supplier visits and program reviews. You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance; MBA preferred. 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement for mechanical/electrical components. Strong understanding of the full procurement lifecycle, including RFQ/RFI processes, cost analysis, and contract negotiations. Proven ability to manage complex supplier relationships and drive cross-functional alignment across global teams. Familiarity with product development cycles and quality systems. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent), and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira). Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver results under pressure.
