Responsibilities The Senior Hospital Informatics Analyst is responsible for ensuring the organization's success by actively participating in the planning, development, implementation, education, and training of clinical and operational documentation. They focus on operational excellence by developing safe design principles for order sets, improving workflow, and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes. This role contributes to policy development, ensure organizational needs are met, and deliver high-quality services to stakeholders. In system design and support, they standardize applications and system designs, identify, and resolve deficiencies, and coordinate effectively with IT, Clinical Operations, and market leaders. Qualifications Job Requirements: Associate’s degree Additional years of experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis Certification or licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Pharmacy Certified Technician, Certified Radiology Technician, or Certified Respiratory Therapist, or at least 1 year of experience in a related field required. 3+ years of experience in healthcare related field 2+ years of healthcare informatics experience Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field Compact professional licensure preferred Master's degree in healthcare, business, or healthcare related field EHR certification (example – Epic Principal Trainer, Clin Doc, Informatics etc.) Clinical Informatics Board Certification.
