Job Summary: The Senior HR Associate in the HR Services Center is responsible for delivering HR’s administrative and transaction services across a variety of HR areas. The associate responds to employee inquiries by telephone, e-mail, or chat to provide resolution. Resolves mostly routine and some non-routine, more complex problems and communicates solutions or requested information to the HR customer. The role also analyzes an HR customer’s needs and completes appropriate transactions in the system. Refers to COE team contacts for unresolved, high complexity problems and brings the issue to resolution. This position reports to the HR Associate Team Lead / Manager. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Manage HR Transaction Services: Responsible for processing employment related transactions for all HR functions (e.g., new hire processing, employee data management) Manage HR Specialized Services: Responsible for responding to complex inquires or transactions for all HR functions and escalating any unresolved cases to the appropriate functional specialist/COE contact. Respond to employee inquiries when escalated or as a stand-by for Tier-I Responsible for promoting a positive employee experience and increased satisfaction through efficient and courteous service Process changes to employee data in the preferred HRSC technology system by ensuring adherence to defined processes and protocols. Ensure that all necessary documents and approvals have been received and information is accurately documented into HRSC system Assist the HRIS COE with testing of HRIS system upgrades and functionality as necessary Aid in the process to quantify, assess, and improve HRSC operations and services. Required Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required and Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent HR experience Preferred Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.Additional License(s) and Certification(s): Required Minimum Experience: minimum 2 years of relevant HR generalist or HR business partner or HR Customer service experience Required Required Minimum Skills: Ability to ensure the HR inquiries and transactions are resolved effectively, accurately, and consistently. Have a deep understanding of HR Policy, Administration and HR processes. Excellent communication skills and relationship management ability to work with employees at all levels and explain programs/policies or resolve problems. Ability to work with confidential and sensitive material; able to work with a high degree of accuracy, often in time-critical situations. Previous experience working in HR administrative work, working with core HRIS systems. Strong business acumen with strong analytical skills. Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis to resolve issues and mitigate future risks
