As Senior HRBP, Science & Innovation , you will work directly with leaders, managers and employees in a supporting the Global Regulatory Affairs & Global Research & Development functional areas in support of the Director, HRBP – Life Sciences. You will take ownership for your own business areas and have responsibility to managing all aspects of HR for your defined group. This role will act as a trusted advisor to the agreed business units providing advice, guidance and positive challenge to create the right culture for CooperSurgical’s continued growth.

Experience

  • 4+ years HRBP experience, 6+ years total HR experience
  • Proven experience in delivering a robust HR service to a life science business
  • Experience supporting R&D, Regulatory, Quality, and Lab preferred

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; or an equivalent of education and experience.

Work location

  • Trumbull, CT or Livingston, NJ (The selected candidate MUST be on-site 5 days per week)

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $118,715 - $158,286. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support to leaders, managers and employees on the full range of employment related matters, consulting or working in conjunction with other HR colleagues and external consultants/advisors as necessary.
  • Deliver a robust and compliant HR service across areas of business responsibility ensuring that Talent Acquisition, onboarding and exits are managed appropriately by the HR admin team
  • Have a deep understanding of the business and contribute to the business unit strategy.
  • A key member of the business teams attending all relevant meetings and business reviews.
  • Ensuring the local HR strategy is directly aligned to the overall business strategy and the HR Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP).
  • In collaboration with local leadership teams, recommend appropriate Rewards/Incentive Programs.
