Description:
KEY RESULT AREAS:
1.Partner with senior leadership to define, develop, and execute the Total Rewards philosophy, vision, and strategy.
2.Provide strategic and operational leadership in the design, development, implementation and communication of all reward programs, policies and practices; including health, welfare, wellness, base pay, incentives and other rewards to ensure they remain competitive, sustainable, scalable, and have an impact on the long term and short-term performance of the organization.
3.Effectively incorporate plan designs to support short and long-term business objectives, ensuring compensation strategies and solutions support existing and emerging business needs.
4.Benchmark, analyse and propose new programs within compensation, equity, and benefits to remain competitive with the market and align with corporate strategy.
5.Lead the organisation design and job evaluation process with a view to ensure organizational agility and effectiveness and that role-based relativities are maintained. Manage the process of updating JDs and ensuring that these accurately reflect the key deliverables and the company strategy and values.
6.Develop and maintain Human Resources policies and procedures framework ensuring that polices are kept up to date, consistently applied and well understood.
7.Manage the Company health & welfare benefit programs, including various medical insurance schemes to ensure competitiveness within marketplace, affordability for the business and compliance with insurance and market regulations. Make recommendations on plan design and service providers within the budget.
8.Identify and direct strategic process improvements that significantly improve the effectiveness of the various insurance schemes. Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments and trends, assess the impact, and collaborates with senior leadership to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies.
9. Develop effective analytics and metrics around total rewards programs to influence program direction and monitor business impact and effectiveness. Oversees the research of salary market data and building of creative solutions, ensuring that the organization retains a competitive total rewards position in the marketplace.
10.Evaluate programs, keeps abreast of legislation, trends, marketplace changes, and advances and makes recommendations to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
11.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop innovative and competitive compensation and benefits programs, processes and policies. Continually assesses and recommends enhancements and new programs to enable the company to remain competitive.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor*s degree in human resources, Business Administration or similar is required.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 8 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits role
Demonstrated experience and expertise in a senior compensation and benefits role within a large organisation.
Proven ability to review and recommend changes to remuneration packages at all levels.
Experience with job evaluation and the Hay remuneration system.
Demonstrated understanding of remuneration trends and best practice.
Proven experience in conducting research, analysing market data and preparing relevant and providing recommendations for annual salary structure adjustments.
Strong customer focus and ability to work well with peers and colleagues.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
High standard of verbal and written communication skills.
Strong numerical, analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel
