JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Establish and maintain employee details and confidential payroll records; update / enter salary elements, increments and deductions in the HRMS.
  • Receive overtime sheets of various Departments, verify against attendance records, calculate overtime entitlements and add to payroll.
  • Review payroll data and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Generate bank transfer files
  • Generate costing reports, leave and indemnity reports and transfer
  • Respond to payroll related queries of employees and explain payroll and HR policies and procedures as required.
  • Process employee loan requests, track approvals, payment and subsequent recovery in payroll.
  • Coordinate with insurance company for annual renewal of medical and life insurance policies, preparing lists of staff for renewal and processing addition of dependents personally covered by employees.
  • Liaise with IT department and IT support service providers to raise, investigate and resolve Payroll system issues
  • Receive and track annual performance appraisal forms and enter employee ratings, recommendations, training needs, etc. in database.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with in HR and payroll administration
  • Experience in Oracle Fusion or SAP HCM
  • Good knowledge in Kuwait Labor Laws
  • Must have excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent Arabic and English languages
  • Must have a strong sense of ownership to deliver department objectives and pursue professional development of self and team.
