As a Qualcomm Hardware Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of hardware through trainings, product demonstrations, and the design, debug, test, and quality support of customer products. Qualcomm Hardware Application Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the potential application of company products that meet and exceed customer needs. As a Camera Hardware Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of hardware through trainings, product demonstrations, and the design, debug, test, and quality support of customer products. Camera Hardware Application Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the potential application of company products that meet and exceed customer needs. Responsibilities : - Camera system design review and debug support. - Responsible for supporting customers on HW schematic/layout design review and trouble shooting. - Board bring up (boot-up) support. - Digital circuit and PCB stackup customization support. - Analog signal (DC/DC power, ADC/DAC) debugging and analyzing. - Peripheral interface (UART, QSPI/SPI, MIPI CSI, SDIO, I2C, I2S, RMII/RGMII, JTAG) verification. - HDK development, implementation, and maintenance - Customer Training provide Minimum Qualification : - At least 3 years of experience, with 6+ years being highly preferred. - Solid knowledge and experience with schematic design and hardware troubleshooting. - Hardware performance tuning and cost reduction (BOM optimization) - Familiarity with embedded system design including ARM - Proficient in operating lab equipment, including Multimeters and Oscilloscopes. - Hands-on experience with CAD tools such as OrCAD, PSpice, PADS, and Allegro. - Proficiency in PCBA soldering and rework skills. - Availability for business travel Preferred Qualifications: - Good communication in both Chinese and English. - Experience in Camera system development or image sensor integration. - The candidate is a good team builder with excellent people skills and used to operating in networked and virtual team environments. - Natural self-starter, self-motivated, independent and resourceful problem solver. - Outstanding oral and written communication skills capable of presenting persuasively to all levels of the organization in an articulate and succinct manner. Active listening ability. - High intention in engineering and technical analysis. - The candidate is a mature person able to establish relationships to build credibility and influence at all levels of the organization in appropriate manners. - This candidate is a team player and has an easy-to-work-with attitude. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience.
