Overview Sr. Imaging Specialist Working under the general supervision of the SEG Area Manager, the Sr. Imaging Specialist creates images according to the design specifications provided by the Solution Architect to meet client requirements. The complexity of projects may vary from simple to very complex. The Sr. Imaging Specialist develops technical documentation and work instruction documents (WIDs) throughout the project lifecycle and validates to ensure all components are completed according to specifications. During the imaging process, the Sr. Imaging Specialist ensures adherence to quality measures. Additionally, the Sr. Imaging Specialist serves as a mentor and escalation point for Imaging Specialists and supports the innovation and onboarding of new technology and services. Responsibilities Provides custom imaging services for assigned clients. Creates master image tailored to client specifications. Writes Work Instruction Document (WID) to guide consistent deployment practices. Tests all created deliverables to ensure compliance with defined requirements and standards. Mentors assigned technicians to support their skill development and technical growth. Identifies opportunities for process improvement and contributes to workflow enhancements. Collaborates with Project Coordinators and Solution Architects to ensure deliverables meet quality metrics and are delivered on time and error-free Serves as a leader for daily team operations, providing direction, support, and resource management Min USD $27.88/Hr. Max USD $35.37/Hr. Qualifications Degree requirements: Associate's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience Required competencies: · Strong knowledge of computer hardware with the ability to correctly design and build images based on customer requirements. · Technical aptitude with ability to absorb and apply newly learned technical skills · Excellent knowledge of operating systems to insure proper configuration. · Strong working knowledge of imaging software to accurately build customer images. · i.e., DISM, MDT, WDS, etc. · Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to identify problems and quickly resolve. · Basic knowledge of Powershell and data capture techniques · Advanced configuration skills with ability to assist customers in improving their business goals by delivering high quality IT solutions. · Excellent technical writing skills with proficiency in the development of technical documents to insure all technicians have required information to perform image builds. · Excellent project organizational skills. · Proficient in technical process and procedure design. · Excellent knowledge of Quality Assurance. · Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work well with all levels of the organization · Articulate with ability to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication · A strong work ethic for continued improvement and technical education/knowledge. · Flexible with an ability to deal with high pressure projects and deadlines.
