Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on VMware, Windows, and Azure environments.
  • Certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Skills:
    o Strong knowledge of VMware, and related technologies.
    o Strong knowledge of Azure Entra ID, and Azure Compute
    o Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS and Group Policies.
    o Knowledge of certificates for authentication and web servers
    o Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
    o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with other cloud-based infrastructure and services.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Experience with storage array, (disk, raid, volume, iscsi)
  • Experience with Citrix and Veeam
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and Maintain IT Infrastructure: Oversee the operation and maintenance of data centers and remote plant sites, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • VMware Administration: Install, configure, and manage VMware environments, including vCenter and vSphere. .
  • Windows Server Management: Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policies.
  • Cloud: Manage applications, servers, and authentication in Microsoft Azure
  • Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Security Management: Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure by implementing and maintaining security policies, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and problems.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the IT infrastructure, including network diagrams, configuration settings, and standard operating procedures.
  • Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
