This job is responsible for the design, connection, scheduling and deployment of data integration components, including workflows, sessions, and mappings, in accordance with standards and best practices. Assists in developing and setting the standards and best practices for the organization. Provides data analysis and validation, and will engage in gathering of requirements for Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) solutions, collaborating with business and technology departments to understand system data and its use, and providing support around the data and how it is integrated. Monitors production systems for issues and resolves issues as needed. Provides assistance in data modeling and data warehouse design and provides assistance to define structure of targets for ETL processes. Provides mentoring and assistance to DI analysts and associates and develop a deep understanding of the data, its use, and the structure of both source and target systems.

EDUCATION

Required - Bachelor’s degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required - 3 year of SQL experience, data analysis and data profiling; relational database systems and data extraction, transformation of data and loading data
Preferred - 3 years of Oracle SQL experience, data analysis and data profiling
3 years of Oracle relational database systems
3 years of data extraction, transformation of data and loading data using Informatica

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAS)

  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with dimensional modeling (Ralph Kimball), business intelligence concepts.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing, team-based environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Develop data architecture, data modeling and ETL mapping solutions within the data warehouse environment.
  • Maintain and develop documentation to identify and define processes or procedures.
  • Manages data by following best practices.
  • Supports and monitors ETL systems.
  • Administration of Data Integration server and/or processes.
