The Senior IT Financial Analyst is a key contributor in our efforts to effectively and efficiently manage IT Financials. This role helps operational leaders make critical business decisions through their financial and analytical expertise. This role is responsible for managing a typical annual budget of $100m+. Duties include facilitating the annual IT Financial plan, forecasting, reconciliation of actuals, providing long-term/strategic modelling, developing pro-forma models for proposed investment projects, and the execution of other ad-hoc analysis related to Cash Flow, as well as relationship management with IT Leaders and their Financial Liaison, Finance, Sourcing, Purchasing, Accounts Payable and HR. This role participates in strategic and operational process improvements while working with CCL IT and other departments and brands.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, MIS or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional certification
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or finance related field
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Strong financial modeling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights to senior management are essential for success in this position.
- Advanced technical aptitude in Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Interactive Reporting, and Oracle Financials or similar database systems, as well as with MS Office suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt easily to change within a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in creating and manipulating financial models to analyze trends, forecast expenses, and perform variance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Attention to detail is crucial for accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel: No or very little travel likely
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
