  • University degree, preferably in technology/ engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of banking experience with production support of large-scale enterprise grade applications
  • Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience supporting various AML processes for Risk Rating and Transaction Monitoring including Oracle OFSAA/FCCM products and Actimize products.
  • Very good understanding of how a typical Oracle AML batch works to generate alerts and be able to resolve issues arising from batches in a timely fashion
  • Exposure to working with Oracle database is required.
  • Strong PL/SQL skills on Oracle database
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with key business partners, understand financial markets and regulation and apply analytics to drive commercial value

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Support analyst for our Oracle Transaction Monitoring and Customer Risk rating solutions and Actimize cash transaction reporting solutions to support these products in all environments.
The primary responsibility of our team is to design, develop and maintain the technology platform that processes the banks payments through behaviour detection algorithms to detect suspicious and fraudulent activity. The open role is for a person who is very familiar with the Oracle Mantas (OFSAA, FCCM) eco system and can support and maintain all aspects of the AML TM and CRR applications where there are multiple Oracle platforms such as Entity Resolution, DIH, ODI, OAS and Mantas in the various environments. In addition to Oracle, the person will also be involved in supporting the Actimize Cash transaction reporting platform.
The person should have experience in solving complex batch processing and should be very familiar with Oracle and Actimize environments. The role will require that the person collaborates with the larger team (Oracle and Actimize Engineering teams) to ensure that the batches are meeting daily SLAs and any issues in that process are resolved in a timely manner. Reengineer Batches to stabilise and sustain the stability during Asia Time zone.

Meaningful work is fueled by meaningful performance and career development conversations with your manager. Here’s some of what you may be asked to perform:

  • Responsible for ensuring that the daily batches are running properly, and the batch SLAs are being met.
  • Escalate and work with the Oracle and Actimize vendors for issues and follow through to resolution.
  • Responsible for constantly automating manual tasks and improving the various processes around the batch including ensuring the Runbooks and other supporting documentation are constantly updated.
  • Work with the global teams and product vendors to automate various aspects of the batch including adding validation at every layer to ensure that any failures are detected early and fail fast.
  • On issues during Asia hours, you will be responsible for managing the bridge and coordinating the response around any incidents that are raised as a result of batch failure.
  • Responsible for creating and reporting out the weekly status of the batch and environment changes along with the KPIs.
  • Be responsible for tracking and managing the backlog associated with any changes that are required in the various environments to fix issues or improve processes.
  • Be the point of contact in Asia for other L3 vendor teams that are supporting CRR, TM and CTR applications guiding and mentoring them on best practices in TD.
  • Ensure scheduled changes take place with proper testing, monitoring, and implementation and with little or no adverse impact to the business.
  • Foster an environment and culture that encourages productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork, and a high level of professionalism.
  • Identify all support related dependencies and risks and ensures mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks.
