Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Software Development & System Design Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications. Implement trunk-based development practices to enable continuous integration and rapid delivery. Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles and software design best practices. Ensure high levels of unit test coverage, test-driven development (TDD), and behavior-driven development (BDD). Actively contribute to hands-on coding, code reviews, and refactoring to maintain high engineering standards. Apply Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality. Implement and enforce secure coding practices, performing vulnerability assessments and ensuring compliance with security standards. Collaborate effectively in agile environments, embracing DevOps principles and fostering a culture of continuous delivery and improvement. 5-8 years of relevant experience Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications Experience in managing and implementing successful projects Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience Partner with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to design scalable and distributed systems. Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning. Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to optimize deployments, observability, and production resilience. Lead technical discussions, contribute to design documentation, and provide guidance on modern software architectures. Strong hands-on 8 - 12 years of experience in coding (Java, Python, or any modern programming language). Deep expertise in system design and microservices architecture. Experience with trunk-based development, feature flags, and progressive delivery strategies. Proficiency in TDD, BDD, and automation-first mindset to ensure high test coverage and reliability. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. Experience conducting code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and secure coding. Familiarity with modern cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems. Knowledge of performance tuning, observability, and production monitoring.
