GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The FreshRealm Logistics org is seeking a Sr Analyst to support teams running day-to-day execution of our Inbound, Transfers, and Outbound networks. This position will query, audit, and analyze data, drive process improvements, standardize current processes, and eliminate the root cause of defects across cost, quality, and food-safety. This Sr. Analyst will also work directly with internal stakeholders across buying/planning, finance, account management, and field operations to build reporting, tooling, and models to scale processes and the business. Strong SQL, Excel, and PowerBI/DAX skills are required, along with willingness to learn new ERP/WMS tools/systems to access required data for deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
  • 5+ years of business or financial analysis, product costing, procurement, or a quantitative role experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to problem solve independently

Experience / Education

  • HS Diploma with 1-3 years of experience in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field preferred
  • Experience in customer service will be appreciated
  • Operations/plant management or supply chain background
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes and procedures

Working Conditions: Work is primarily conducted in office, however some work may be conducted remotely via technology. This position may also require night and/or weekend work.
Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This position is located on a public street and near retail stores. Employee may be exposed to the general public, vehicles and exhaust. This building has a kitchen that is used on a daily basis. Employee is frequently exposed to food aromas, smoke, and other related cooking and cleaning activities. Physical Demands: Some lifting (up to 30 lbs. and pushing/pulling (up to 50 lbs). Long hours sitting and using a computer, keyboard smartphone, etc. Occasional standing and/or walking. May need to travel between buildings or plants. Travel may be required on an occasional basis which will include traveling through airports, hotels and other public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Retrieving and analyzing data using Excel, SQL, PowerBI/DAX and other data management systems.
  • Work with Data Engineers and Reporting teams on improving data availability, quality, and latency.
  • Build and present models analyzing cost, quality, and performance tradeoffs of different network design potentials.
  • Monitoring existing metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
  • Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
  • Design tools to simplify manual processes through automation of required data through automated data connections and consolidated views.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.
  • Driving medium to large operational enhancement projects.
  • Research, propose, and implement cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities.
