SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  1. Transportation & Logistics Operations
  • Lead daily operations for global shipments, including cargo coordination and on-time delivery across multiple modes (express carrier, air, ocean, ground).
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL partners, monitoring service levels and negotiating on-time performance improvements.
  • Oversee shipment tracking and exception management to ensure visibility and control of logistics flows for U.S.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and regional teams to resolve transit disruptions, optimize routes, and improve logistics KPIs.
  1. Import/Export Trade Management
  • Interpret and apply U.S. and international trade regulations (CBP, BIS/EAR, OFAC, regional customs authorities) to ensure full compliance across global operations.
  • Supervise import entry reviews, including HTS/ECCN classification, valuation, and entry type determinations, minimizing delays and penalties.
  • Oversee US export control processes, including AES/ITN filing, export license requirements, deemed export reviews, and coordination with engineering/legal teams.
  • Maintain compliance documentation and support internal/external audits for trade-related activities.
  1. Shipment Documentation & Regulatory Alignment
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
  • Support governmental and regulatory requirements and coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely and compliant filings.
  • Validate Incoterms and country-of-origin data to align with both logistics and trade compliance standards.
  1. Process Improvement & System Integration
  • Drive initiatives to improve logistics efficiency and compliance accuracy across SAP ERP and Oracle GTM platforms.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance shipment visibility, data integrity, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Contribute to global standardization of operational workflows and compliance procedures.
  1. Governance, Training & Cross-Functional Support
  • Act as a key liaison between HQ, regional teams, and business units to align logistics and compliance strategies.
