YOUR IMPACT:

OpenText is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior M Manager to join our Corporate Development team. This role will be a key contributor to the company’s inorganic growth strategy across a $200B+ total addressable market. You will lead cross-functional teams, assist in managing end-to-end deal execution, and help shape the future of OpenText’s global portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the full lifecycle of M transactions, including sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, negotiation, and integration/divestiture planning.
  • Building financial models and conducting valuation analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintaining a robust pipeline of acquisition targets in collaboration with business unit leaders.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal, HR, Product, Sales and Operations to ensure seamless deal execution, post-merger integration or divestiture planning.
  • Identifying and assessing strategic fit, risks, and synergies of potential targets or divestiture opportunities.
  • Preparing and presenting investment memos and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Maintaining relationships with external advisors, including investment banks, private equity and venture capital firms
