About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting production and logistics operations as well as all facility infrastructure within the Precor facilities. Internally this includes coordination with our manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, engineering, and administrative teams on initiatives and day-to-day work. Externally this role manages and collaborates with our vendors, suppliers, and trades contractors.
This is a first shift role working 6am-2:30pm during the training period. Once trained, this role will transition to a 4 day, 10 hour shift schedule.
Pay Range: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Actively pursues continuous improvement to meet or exceed customer needs and to further overall company goals and objectives.
  • Understand and communicate equipment failures, determine cause and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and track down electrical issues.
  • Responsible for understanding the Precor Safety Policy and for practicing safe work habits on the job.
  • Able to set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of dynamic job responsibilities.
  • Attend regularly scheduled department and safety meetings.
  • Assist in the planning and installation of electrical systems, electrical apparatus, and electrical/electronic components on industrial machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery including CNC equipment, mills, lathes, presses, saws, conveyors, welding equipment and process heating burners.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical/electronic test equipment, i.e., multimeters, amp clamps, and megohmmeters.
  • Installs and repairs automated machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical systems.
  • Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.
  • Metal fabrication and welding skills are desirable.
  • Complete equipment Preventative Maintenance tasks per established criteria and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
  • Keep accurate records of equipment failures and repairs using a CMMS system.
  • Able to work independently while understanding the necessity for open communication and coordination of work efforts with other employees.
  • Use powered industrial equipment including forklift and scissor/boom lifts as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support of maintenance issues, fire and intrusion alarm calls.

Qualifications

  • Education - High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 4+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid WA Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Electrical Certificate/License/Qualified Electrician or other key Maintenance component standing, or other technical industrial training & certification preferred.
  • PC skills including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.

The pay range represents the low and high end of the anticipated pay range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters.
