Description

Drive accounting support within finance transformation work programs and other process enhancements Provide accounting expertise and leadership to finance and business organizations Consult with business partners regularly to ensure awareness of significant transactions and potential accounting impact Work with a high degree of initiative to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities through automation to ensure all processes are scalable for Credit business' rapid expansion. Develop and improve internal process documentation. Collaborate with the other managers on the team for specific projects and oversight of day-to-day team operations. Provide accounting expertise and leadership to finance and business organizations 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to analyze and walkthrough new or existing accounting processes from beginning to end and outline journal entries. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate ideas and plans clearly and effectively with internal and external audiences at a leadership level. Ability to influence where you do not have direct authority through strong interpersonal skills Quick learner with a high degree of attention to detail and understanding of business/accounting processes. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across cross functional teams. High degree of personal integrity and professional skepticism. Open to change and committed to continuous process improvement. Have a reputation for getting things done. 12+ years of Audit/Accounting experience: Minimum 5 years required at a Big Four public accounting firm. Experience in Credit or Banking industry is required. CPA required
