This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2500000 - Rs 3000000 (ie INR 25-30 LPA) Min Experience: 7 years JobType: full-time The Senior Manager – Accounts (Manufacturing) will be responsible for driving financial planning, cost control, MIS reporting, and commercial support for manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with unit leadership and corporate finance teams to ensure financial discipline, timely reporting, and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities Budgeting & Variance Analysis Prepare and close monthly budgets in a timely manner, supported by detailed variance analysis. Conduct cost analysis and reconcile cost records with financial accounts. Analyze budget vs. actual performance and highlight key deviations with actionable insights. MIS & Financial Reporting Prepare and review daily, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports for unit and management review. Ensure accuracy and timely closure of monthly management accounts. Provide meaningful financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions. Commercial & Business Support Coordinate with the corporate finance team to ensure timely availability of funds and working capital for manufacturing units. Act as a key financial partner to the Unit CEO, supporting commercial and operational decision-making. Review financial data to identify trends, exceptions, and unusual variances, and proactively present findings to senior management. Credit Control & Compliance Closely monitor receivables, credit control, and collections to strengthen cash flow management. Support compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards. Assist the Accounts Head by providing analytical inputs and performance insights.
