ABOUT THIS ROLE
Biogen is seeking a proven Application Specialist, Cybersecurity Engineer with expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), specifically in systems used for directory services, authentication, and authorization. As the Application Specialist, Cybersecurity Engineer for directory services, you will deliver advanced training, mentor super-users, and provide expert-level (L4) technical support to optimize application functionality and resolve complex usage challenges. Your role will place you at the forefront of new functional implementations, ensuring Biogen’s directory services remain secure, compliant, and aligned with IAM best practices.
You will be responsible for end-to-end service delivery, ensuring projects, enhancements, and L4 support meet best-in-class quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business analysts, technical architects, and project managers—to execute upgrades, enhancements, and systems development initiatives.
As a technical expert, you will work with a team of specialized technologists, delivering engineering insights to safeguard Biogen from major cybersecurity incidents. This role reports directly to the Identity Assurance Lead within Biogen’s Cybersecurity organization.
