“The Clinical Systems and Special Projects, Sr. Manager works cross organizationally and directly with clinical teams to ensure that business user requirements are understood and appropriately considered and supported within existing systems. The Sr. Manager supports enhancements to existing systems and new system design, testing, documentation of workflows, and end user training.
The Clinical Systems and Special Projects Sr. Manager supports the Clinical Operations team with new program projects that support the organizational growth and improve efficiencies across the clinical teams.
Essential to the Sr. Manager role is contributing to the success of the company. The Sr. Managers actions should be poised toward business growth and comply with Alignment policies. The Sr. Manager will collaborate with the department Director and upper management team to promote successful growth within the department and throughout the company.

General Duties/Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

  • Must have the ability to understand requirement’s objective, facilitate requirements gathering activities, including meeting with internal stakeholders to discuss existing functionality and enhancements.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with clinical teams to analyze information needs and documentation needed.
  • Translate requirements into detailed technical specifications and participate in reviewing technical specifications with all teams.
  • Review and approve requirement, design specifications, physical solution design, functional requirements, prototypes, and system testing.
  • Review operational workflows of high degree of complexity and/or for multiple departments, identifying problems and developing improvements, modifications, and enhancements.
  • Document issues, resolutions and write specific requirements for system changes and troubleshooting issues to ensure issues as identified, tracked, and reported on and resolved in a timely manner, including the creation of test scenarios, testing data, and understanding of outcomes.
  • Partner and consult with AVA product development and services teams to create and execute training plans, customer facing guides to facilitate adoption of application features and functionality, workflow participant guides, job aids, training curriculum and other required coursework that is clear, concise, and accurate.
  • Create exercises, instructional activities and training assessments that reinforce learning
  • Reviews workflows, job aid, standard operating procedures, and/or policies and recommend or change as appropriate to ensure timely, efficient, and effective outputs.
  • Collaborate with other leaders in the department to improve processes and work flow,
  • Assist with assessment activities and other process improvement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the Clinical department.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, including presentations as required.
  • Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff at all levels, providers, other departments or programs.
  • Initiate and follow through on projects.
  • Collaborate with Leadership team to create programs and ensure that systems meet company and CMS requirements
  • Assess processes to identify workflow efficiencies
  • Develop/update training materials and implement a train the trainer approach with team leads
  • Work well as part of a team to manage/lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Think critically to solve problems effectively.
  • Function to gather data for analyzing and reporting purpose. Build and update reports for performance management and compliance monitoring. Ensure reports are accurate and aligned with departmental/individual goals.

  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $113,332.00 - $169,999.00
Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
