Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field or four (4) years of experience in lieu of a degree required.
  • 5+ years of IT operations, corporate technology, and cloud operations experience and experience managing direct reports in a technical field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with cloud services, including Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience managing Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Entra/Azure AD required.
  • Experience in performance development, teaching/ leading, mentoring and/or organization development.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Hands-on experience building, scripting, configuring, and deploying is required. This is not a hands-off management role.
  • Demonstrated Infrastructure as Code experience using technologies like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and similar tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where we invest in planning to avoid firefighting wherever possible.
  • Proven ability to pick the right technology for the job with a healthy appreciation for the power of various SaaS vendors, off-the-shelf tools, and partner solutions.
  • Expertise in shell scripting across platforms (Bash, Python) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
  • Experience building deployment pipelines for cloud-based applications via automated CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Deploy, Jenkins, and similar tools.
  • Experience with health care data working in a HIPAA/HITRUST environment is a plus.
