GENERAL SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, reporting to the Senior Director of Global Digital Strategy, plays a key supportive role in the planning, development, and execution of strategic initiatives across Candela’s global web platforms, digital sales tools, customer portals, e-commerce solutions, digital campaigns and user/customer experiences. This position is instrumental in driving traffic, boosting MQL productivity, sales growth, and expanding both existing and new customer acquisition channels.
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams—including Product/UX, Creative, and Growth Marketing—the Manager will help optimize the marketing funnel and eventually lead new account database marketing initiatives (e.g., BCG). The role involves gathering, translating, and executing ideas into impactful promotional campaigns, managing online promotions, and supporting program effectiveness through continuous analysis and optimization of digital performance.
The Senior Manager will support digital, demand generation, and brand marketing efforts by establishing end-to-end campaign processes—from planning and execution to in-depth reporting and analytics—to enable data-driven decision-making – working in partnership with the Commercial Operations team. This role requires strong collaboration across various internal stakeholders including MarComm, Brand, Growth, Sales, and Service teams.

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • BS or BA degree required
  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience in digital marketing and two (2) years’ experience with marketing artificial intelligence (AI) tools
  • Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing
  • High proficiency or mastery of Facebook Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn ads and/or other ad platforms Startup or agency background
  • Experience in Looker, Google Analytics, Google Tag manager, SQL
  • Demonstrated technical and creative aspects of digital marketing
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Works effectively within a matrixed, global organization; builds internal/external relations, demonstrated influencing, and collaboration skills sets to drive decisions, and establish credibility
  • Must be results & action oriented ‘roll up the sleeves’ type individual
  • Able to work in an environment where sharing responsibility for success and failure of others on the team.
  • Conversant in the English language, verbal/written communication; exhibits excellent presentation, analytical and organizational skills. Additional language skills are a strong plus

Responsibilities
  1. Own performance for paid acquisition campaigns across social, search and display, and Candela’s web properties
  2. Lead strategy of online channels and dissect data to make tactical decisions on budget, spend allocation and creative optimization
  3. Build testing roadmap, ranging from large scale promotional campaigns to individual creative tests
  4. Oversee (and execute on) day-to-day bid and optimization strategy
  5. Create and disseminate regular and ad hoc reporting to share channel performance and testing insights
  6. Leads to improvements in ad targeting, landing pages and web features
  7. Manage social media calendar and identify and vet new partnership opportunities
  8. Streamline customer response strategy and guide
  9. Collaborate with the creative team for new test ideas, ensuring a continuous pipeline of assets
  10. Stay up to date on competition, industry trends, platform updates and new placements and ad types
  11. Introduce new platforms and tools as needed
