What Drives Success The Sr. Manager, Distribution Operations is a strategic and results-oriented leader who oversees a team to drive innovative strategies and initiatives to meet business objectives. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of parts and supplies that support our customers, field service teams, and dealer network. The leader is experienced in high-volume, multi-SKU distribution environments, has strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction. The leader is tasked to drive efficiencies and optimize our distribution processes. This leader defines the overall distribution strategy and manages the high-level activities required to deliver exceptional customer experience while delivering on budgeted financial objectives. Working with the leadership team, this leader will be charged with translating a vision of ambitious growth into impactful plans by engaging and energizing all levels of the organization into delivering year-on-year service excellence and operational productivity. Key Responsibilities Oversees the distribution operations of parts and supplies, including setting up a new distribution center to support and drive growth. Sets the vision for the parts and supplies order fulfillment and inspires the team to achieve their goals, all designed to make it easier for customers to buy parts from Lennox. Works closely with IT teams to implement a warehouse management system (WMS), transportation management system (TMS), ERP system and demand planning tools specific to parts distribution. Manages inventory control, replenishment, and storage to optimize parts availability and costs working closely with the SIOP team. Develops KPIs and metrics to drive operational excellence. Identifies and deploys lean best practices, automation, and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste (e.g., data, technology andystems integration). Collaborates with global sourcing and manufacturing to develop and execute an optimized end-to-end supply chain with great efficiency and resiliency. Maximizes fill rate by ensuring alignment across functions for inventory, demand, and supply planning. Promotes a culture of a safe working environment, ensuring that good health & safety practices are in place and regularly reviewed. Promotes the people strategy, instilling a culture of high performance, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the function. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in parts and supplies distribution and related supply chain operations, including prior experience in a leadership position. This candidate must be self-motivated, resourceful and bring a strong parts and supplies ‘world class’ mindset to the function. A dynamic leader with 10+ years of experience in managing high-performing teams. Knowledge of global trade and compliance requirements in the distribution industry. Experience implementing operational improvements in safety, efficiency, and cost optimization. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and lean/continuous improvement methodologies. Change management expertise, especially in implementing new distribution technologies or restructuring supply networks. Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams across multiple facilities Results oriented with a strong sense of urgency, especially around critical parts delivery lead time and fulfillment rate. Analytical yet practical, capable of balancing strategic improvements with day-to-day execution. Adaptable, resilient, and committed to building customer focused distribution operations. Proven experience in high-volume, complex-SKU environments where accuracy, order fulfilment speed, and service reliability are critical. An undergraduate degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field is required, and an MBA or equivalent business / advanced degree is preferred. Other Work Requirements This is an on-site leadership role based in Richardson, TX, with occasional travel to other Lennox locations. What We Offer Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $122k – $160k annually. Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual short term incentive bonus of 15% in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
