For additional information about the Wella Company please visit www.wellacompany.com.   The Role The Sr. Manager Quality provides regional leadership for all Quality activities across Third Party Manufacturers (TPMs) and the logistics network in the Americas, ensuring compliance with Cosmetic GMP, regulatory requirements, and Wella Quality Standards through robust governance, audits, capability building, and cross‑functional influence.   Key Responsibilities External Operations (EXO) Quality Leads and develops the External Operations Quality Team with 3 direct and 1 indirect team members Monitors and governs regulatory compliance and operational performance of TPMs Conducts and approves QA audits at TPMs; ensures timely closure and effectiveness of CAPAs Manages and approves product inspections and the batch release process in SAP Owns nonconformance management and complaint investigations with TPMs and internal Wella functions Leads CAPA governance, tracking actions through to effectiveness verification Drives cross-functional quality projects (test method upgrades, process changes, new product qualification and new TPM onboarding) Analyzes monthly quality KPIs and implement structured continuous improvement plans   Logistics Quality Ensures product quality through the distribution network Builds quality capabilities in Distribution Centers (DCs) and Customization Centers (CCs) Approves and validates co-packing/manipulation activities for compliance with Wella quality and regulatory standards Ensures full traceability across the distribution network and leads incident blocking, quarantine, and reconciliation of blocked stock. Drives harmonization and capability-building initiatives across logistics partners Conducts DC/CC audits and monitors CAPA closure and effectiveness Analyzes monthly quality KPIs and implement structured continuous improvement plans     Minimum Qualifications    6+ years of experience in Quality within cosmetics, personal care, or consumer goods. Experience with OTC drugs or Food Supplements is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related technical field Strong knowledge of Cosmetic GMP, FDA regulations, and quality standards Experience in TPM and DC/CCs audits Demonstrated people leadership (direct or matrix) Willingness to travel up to 20 % (primarily within Americas) Strong project management and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication and influencing skills Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office     We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law.
