MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Minimum 8 years of financial experience in the CPG industry

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 8-10 years progressive experience in finance/accounting roles within the manufacturing industry
• Self-starter with ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
• Ability to create models to diagnose business problems and recommend solutions is a must.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience with Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse systems, and financial modeling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• CPG experience a plus
• Experience with Business Objects, Oracle EssBase Tool, and/or JDE a plus
• Ability to simplify
• Project management experience

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

Generous Brands is looking for a Sr. Finance Manager to provide total financial thought leadership, analytical support, and collaborative planning for the management teams. The Sr. Finance Manager will oversee budgeting/forecasting and KPI reporting. This individual will develop, organize, and implement assigned Finance activities to support business strategies and act as a subject-matter expert for the functional teams. This position reports to the Sr Director – Finance.

• Drive key functional financial metrics
• Provide insights into financial results (vs prior year, vs forecast, vs annual operating plan); identify risks and opportunities
• Supports CPG teams in the development and tracking of cost savings initiatives
• Annual Operating Plan and Monthly Projections
• Support SG&A/Support Overhead components of monthly and annual projections/budgets.
• Articulation of variance drivers against budget, prior year, and/or prior forecast.
