Reporting to the Director, Global Tax Planning and International Compliance, the Senior Manager, International Tax will lead key aspects of OECD Pillar Two planning and compliance, oversee T1134 reporting, Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), and contribute to tax planning initiatives including global value chain-alignment. This role will also participate in transaction-driven projects, including those involving U.S. international tax and M&A activity.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive tax professional with strong international tax knowledge, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to connect tax strategies to business operations and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Nutrien’s global planning and compliance efforts related to OECD Pillar Two, including modeling, impact assessments, stakeholder education, and implementation
  • Manage the preparation and review of T1134 filings and CbCR reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Drive value chain-focused tax planning in collaboration with finance, operations, and business unit teams to align global tax outcomes with business substance and strategy
  • Provide tax input on cross-border and transactional projects, including M&A structuring, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration
  • Monitor global tax developments and assess their implications for Nutrien’s operating model
  • Manage, mentor, and develop staff
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors on planning initiatives and compliance activities
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data management, automation, and process efficiency
  • Support audit readiness and responses for international tax matters
