1. Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute long-term logistics strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Champion innovation in warehouse and distribution centre technology (automation, robotics, advanced WMS/ERP integration).
• Lead large-scale projects, including expansion, consolidation, and process reengineering.

1. Operational Excellence

• Set and monitor KPIs for cost, service, safety, and compliance at the company level.
• Oversee multi-warehouse and distribution centre operations, harmonizing SOPs and best practices.
• Direct risk management, business continuity, and crisis response for logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, GSP, EHS, and other regulatory standards.
• Lead audits, regulatory inspections, and remediation programs.

1. People & Organizational Development

• Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team; drive succession planning for key roles.
• Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous learning.
• Lead change management for organizational transformation.

1. Stakeholder Management

• Represent the logistics function in management forums and cross-functional steering committees.
• Manage relationships related to logistics with key external partners (vendors, regulators, logistics providers).
• Sustainability & Financial Oversight
• Drive sustainability initiatives (green logistics, waste reduction).
• Oversee budget planning and spending for logistics operations.

1. EHS Responsibilities

• Ensure team adherence to EMS and HSE requirements through monitoring, training, and guidance.
• Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
• Drive departmental initiatives for environmental performance improvement and HSE culture.

1. Sustainability & Financial Oversight

• Drive sustainability initiatives (green logistics, waste reduction).
• Oversee budget planning and spending for logistics operations.

Qualification/Functional knowledge

Key Experiences / Functional Knowledge Requirements:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy is required; Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
• 15+ years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles.
• Track record of leading multi-site operations and large-scale change initiatives.
