Description
Define and drive the strategic vision for machine learning initiatives within the team. Lead the development and optimization of machine learning models. Oversee the preprocessing and analysis of large datasets. Deploy and maintain ML solutions in production environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into products and services. Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models, making necessary adjustments. Mentor and guide junior engineers and data scientists. Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in ML development. Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Previous management experience The ideal candidate will possess a degree in engineering, science, statistics or mathematics with strong technical background in machine learning. We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills, an analytical mindset, and a passion for problem-solving. 11+ years of hands-on experience with problem-solving using Machine Learning including 4+ years of managing a team of ML scientists Hands-on experience with Python or Java, along with relevant technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, BigQuery, SQL, is required. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, explainable AI methods, GenAI and NLP. Experience in leading data science teams is a plus. Experience with Lending and Financial services is a plus.
