Primary Purpose Responsible for overall leadership in payroll services by managing the processing and accuracy of paychecks. Ensure that high performance is maintained through the use of metrics, benchmarks, SLAs, and Customer Satisfaction Surveys. Implement process improvements designed to streamline transactional work in an effort to improve efficiency, improve quality, and reduce cost. Interface as a strategic partner with Corporate Finance/Legal and business unit leadership by executing corporate policy and governance seamlessly to the business units. Provide point of contact and cohesive, collaborative relationships with third party vendors to maintain and enhance service delivery. Support internal and external audit reviews. Support special projects relating to complexities brought about by mergers/acquisitions, union negotiations, software upgrades, tax updates, multi-jurisdictional legal and tax requirements, etc. **Multiple locations posting. Selected candidate can reside in IL, DC, DE, MD, or PA Exelon Corporate locations** Primary Duties Lead/Manage strategy for payroll operations. (30%) Implement process improvement initiatives. (25%) Measure results through metrics, benchmarks and service level agreements. (15%) Lead strategic partner relationships with corporate finance/legal and business unit leads. (15%) Provide strong leadership and oversight to management and union employees. (15%) Job Scope Manage a level of spend consisting of $8 Million - $10 Million. Initiate process improvement initiatives that create a competitive advantage and drive continuous improvement. Build and maintain relationships with key managers in the customer and strategic partner areas. Responsible for decisions impacting the service delivery of payroll processing, account reconciliations, benefit reporting, and payroll tax reporting. Responsible for measuring metrics, customer satisfaction, and SLA levels in Payroll Services Total number of employees managed: 4 Total number of direct reports: 10 Minimum Qualifications Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline and a minimum of 12 or more years of overall experience. At least 5 years of relevant management experience in HR, Payroll (Oracle cloud experience a plus) or financial operations. Demonstrated ability to select, evaluate, coach, and develop staff. Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change. Demonstrated business acumen, employee awareness, and ability to create value. In lieu of degree 12-15, years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications Master degree in Business Administration.
