We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager of Identity and Access Management (IAM) to lead and evolve our enterprise IAM capabilities. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple IAM teams and their respective managers, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient identity solutions that support business goals. The ideal candidate will have background in IAM technologies, strong people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration within a complex enterprise environment.
This role is responsible for defining and executing the IAM strategy, leading a team of IAM professionals, and working cross-functionally with IT, HR, Legal, and business units to enable secure identities and enforce least-privilege principles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IAM managers and their direct reports.
  • Set strategic direction and roadmap for IAM aligned with enterprise cybersecurity and business unit goals.
  • Drive adoption of industry best practices and modern IAM capabilities (e.g., Zero Trust, identity governance, passwordless authentication, and access management).
  • Operational Oversight
  • Ensure effective day-to-day operation and support of IAM platforms, including identity lifecycle management, access provisioning & self services tools.
  • Oversee delivery of projects and initiatives related to IAM systems upgrades, integrations, and automation.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and standardization of IAM processes.
  • Risk Management & Compliance
  • Ensure we are deploying solution in accordance with regulatory and security standards (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001).
  • Partner with Risk, Audit, and Compliance teams to assess gaps needing IAM investments to remediate findings and reduce risk exposure.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as a senior point of contact for IAM-related matters across the organization.
  • Partner with IT, HR, Legal, and business units to align IAM practices with organizational needs.
  • Lead vendor management and strategic partnerships with IAM technology providers.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required)

Work Experience:

  • 7-10 years Relevant Product Management experience in an agile software product development environment. (Required)
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership roles, preferred managing other leaders/managers.
  • 3+ years Product Management experience in an environment. (preferred)
  • Knowledge in IAM technologies such as Entra, SailPoint, overall SDLC and Agile practices.
  • Excellent people leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Industry certifications a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CIAM certifications).
