Job Requirements Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy•    Lead and manage regional construction/project safety programs across Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, China, and Mexico.•    Align project safety performance with corporate EHS objectives and KPIs (TRIR, recordables, near-hits, etc.).•    Act as subject matter expert on construction safety, regulatory compliance, and contractor management across diverse geographies.•    Support management review, audits, and stakeholder engagement with senior leadership, clients, and regulators.Project & Contractor Safety Management•    Oversee implementation of EHS requirements in major projects (greenfield, brownfield, expansions, retrofits).•    Review and approve contractor safety plans, permits-to-work, and method statements (JSA, HIRARC, RAMS, etc.).•    Lead project readiness assessments, pre-start safety reviews, and site mobilization checks in multiple countries.•    Enforce strict compliance on critical risk activities (Work at Height, LOTO, Confined Space, Lifting, Hot Work, Electrical Safety).Risk & Compliance•    Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, local statutory requirements (Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, China, Mexico), and client standards.•    Drive proactive risk identification and control through audits, inspections, and safety walks.•    Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented regionally.•    Support third-party audits (e.g., RBA, client audits) and regulatory inspections with zero major findings.Training & Culture Building•    Develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and leadership engagement programs across all countries under scope.•    Mentor and coach site safety supervisors, engineers, and contractor HSE staff.•    Foster a culture of ownership and accountability across project stakeholders.•    Promote safety innovations (AI/IoT wearables, CCTV analytics, digital permit systems).Reporting & Performance•    Consolidate and analyze project safety performance data from Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, China, and Mexico.•    Provide executive dashboards, risk-based staffing/budget recommendations, and ROI analyses.•    Report regularly to senior management on status, trends, and emerging risks.•    Share lessons learned across projects and drive continuous improvement.________________________________________Qualifications & Requirements•    Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.•    Certified Safety Officer.•    Minimum 10–12 years of progressive EHS experience, with at least 5 years in regional/multi-country project safety leadership.•    Proven expertise in construction safety, contractor management, and high-risk activity control.•    Strong knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, and local regulatory frameworks across South Asia, China, and Mexico.•    Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.•    Ability to travel regionally and support multiple project sites.
