Description

Position Purpose: Provide strategic leadership on quality improvement initiatives to ensure best-in-class quality improvement outcomes for large multi specialty practice. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality improvement initiatives are fully integrated throughout the organization, maximizing opportunity to improve outcomes for patients.

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to develop innovative initiatives to improve overall quality outcomes
  • Ensure company meets objectives in quality metrics, regularly report on all initiatives and metrics.
  • Organize and oversee activities, resources, methods, and procedures to achieve enterprise-wide quality strategy
  • Formulate and ensure compliance with policies, operating procedures, and goals in compliance with internal and external guidelines
  • Review and implement new technological tools and processes and foster team concept with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders in identifying, developing, and implementing innovative programs and initiatives to improve outcomes
  • Present results and analysis of improvement efforts and ongoing performance measures to senior management
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or Health Care Administration. 8+ years of quality improvement experience. Healthcare operations management experience (medical management, provider relations, contracting, compliance, claims or member/provider services) preferred. Knowledge of NCQA and HEDIS technical specifications. Master’s degree preferred.
License/Certificates: Current state’s RN license preferred. Certified Professional in Health Care Quality preferred.
