The Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) team is leading in innovation to create secure authentication experience for our customers and partners. As a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering in RaIS, you will provide active leadership to the team to execute this mission, by leading a world-class team of engineers, defining, executing and delivering functional and non-functional features at scale quickly and promoting a culture of cross-functional collaboration and engineering excellence. Qualifications Basic Qualifications -8+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience -Provide active guidance to the team on development, security management, release management. -Provide leadership to team of developers including full-time employees and contractors. -Invest in careers of individual developers. Mentor the team for challenges. Total team size is 7+ developers. -Increase team productivity through Automation/GenAI. -Provide technical leadership to by participating in end-to-end product development lifecycle and working with stakeholders to define delivery roadmap. -Build a culture of engineering excellence (quality, security, performance, scalability, availability, resilience etc.) -Partner with product owners in developing a strategy and roadmap that align with business goals. -Create an environment of trust and collaboration across stakeholders. -A senior manager is expected to be directly involved in development, including coding. -Graduation in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field required. -Active development skill in Java, Kubernetes, Mongo, Redis id required. -The candidate should have track record of productivity increase through Automation/GenAI. Preferred Qualifications -9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD -Candidates with UI/UX experience will be preferred. -Post Graduate Degree or other advanced degree preferred. -MBA or Management Certification with a reputed organization would be prioritized. -The candidate should be apt to liaise with globally distributed stakeholders. -We are looking for a candidate with strong business acumen, who can partner with the leadership to deliver on critical initiatives. -Track record of hiring and managing careers of world-class software engineers is a plus. -The candidate should be active in technology.
