Description

The Senior Manager, Stock Plan Administrator will have principal responsibility to manage the day-to-day administration of the stock incentive plans, as well as monitoring and reporting on all areas of equity award administration. The Administrator will lead our equity administration function. Incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of all of our employee and non-employee equity programs and work closely with key stakeholders in our Finance, Accounting, Legal, Payroll and HR teams.

Responsibilities
  • Administer all aspects of Resideo’s global equity programs, including stock awards and employee stock purchase program.
  • Continuously evaluate stock administration function for improvements in processes, implementing automated solutions and holding service providers accountable.
  • Maintain equity award database (currently administered by Morgan Stanley) and ensure that transactions are correctly processed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the adjustments and separation of all outstanding equity awards into separate databases at E*TRADE at time of our spinoff of our distribution business in 2026
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of new equity awards, stock option exercises, terminations and RSU releases.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax withholding and reporting to payroll.
  • Prepare reconciliations of equity award data on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis between Stock Administration records, accounting, HR, payroll, transfer agent, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring annual reporting forms required by tax authorities and year-end tax statements are produced accurately and filed or distributed timely.
  • Work with internal and external auditors and Finance team for quarterly reviews, year-end audits, as well as ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place and procedures are followed to satisfy periodic review of compliance with SOX.
  • Be the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and requests regarding equity programs and equity transactions.
  • Prepare training materials and provide training to employees.
  • Prepare reports for business partners and respond to ad-hoc data requests on a timely basis.
  • Assist with the preparation of equity-related exhibits for the Board and Compensation Committee.
  • Coordinate efforts to expand the offering of the employee stock purchase plan to employees in countries outside the US.
  • Assist Legal team by providing data required to prepare SEC filings such as Form 4s, and review of drafts before filed.
  • Work closely with outside service providers such as equity plans outsourced provider, tax advisors and transfer agent to ensure complete and accurate administration of programs.
