JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead and oversee recruitment strategies for our healthcare organization based in Downtown Toronto. This role will be responsible for attracting top healthcare talent, developing innovative sourcing strategies, and ensuring a seamless hiring experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition, employer branding, and workforce planning within the healthcare industry.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare recruitment challenges, trends, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing recruitment strategies at scale.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR technology.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and healthcare workforce regulations in Ontario.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring the attraction and retention of top healthcare professionals.
  • Recruitment & Sourcing: Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection for various healthcare roles.
  • Employer Branding: Enhance employer branding initiatives to position the organization as an employer of choice within the healthcare industry.
  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate with department leaders to forecast hiring needs and implement proactive recruitment strategies.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by optimizing recruitment processes, providing timely communication, and fostering engagement.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Promote and integrate DEI best practices into talent acquisition strategies.
  • Data & Metrics: Utilize data analytics and recruitment metrics to track performance, optimize hiring processes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other talent sourcing partners.
  • Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices comply with healthcare regulations, employment laws, and company policies.
