Description:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, ideally in pharmaceutical or biotech environments
  • Expertise with Commercial & Medical Affairs systems and applications including Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Grant Management, data warehouse, and other cloud platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Agile project management, backlog management, and sprint planning
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and SQL for data analysis
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Veeva Commercial Cloud)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems in the pharma sector
  • Familiarity with GxP environments and SOX compliance standards

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technical Leadership:
  • Assist the Commercial IT Business Solutions Partner in leading technical aspects for commercial and medical launch projects, focusing on Veeva Commercial applications, data integration, and cloud solutions
  • Support the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions in line with both Commercial and Medical Affairs strategies
  • Implement data integration best practices to maintain data accuracy, security, and quality across multiple departments
  • Support & Operations Management:
  • Manage and resolve support tickets for Commercial and Medical Affairs IT systems, delivering effective solutions to complex technical challenges in collaboration with leadership
  • Act as a liaison between internal technical teams and third-party vendors, providing support to the Commercial and Medical Affairs teams
  • Maintain operational dashboards to monitor incident resolution and improve service delivery for both Commercial and Medical functions
  • Technical Documentation:
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including configurations, process flows, and test scripts, accessible to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ensure documentation aligns with audit, compliance, and training requirements, supporting both internal teams and end-users
  • Create and update knowledge base resources to streamline support and enhance operational efficiency across departments
  • Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Translate complex business requirements into detailed, actionable technical specifications
  • Act as a liaison between Commercial, Medical Affairs, IT, other business units, and vendors, managing expectations and fostering productive communication
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and sprint reviews to ensure team alignment, successful cross-department collaboration, and project clarity
  • Project Management & Agile Methodologies:
  • Manage commercial IT projects using Agile frameworks, overseeing sprints, and ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery for both Commercial and Medical Affairs
  • Partner with product owners to define technical requirements, develop user stories, and clarify project objectives for the team
  • Track and report on project milestones, mitigate risks, and adapt to evolving project needs
  • Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement:
  • Conduct data analysis to provide strategic insights, guiding business decisions and optimizing processes for both Commercial and Medical Affairs
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing systems and processes, leading initiatives to drive operational efficiency and cross-departmental integration
