ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Manager of Product Design, you will lead a team of Product Designers focused on delivering best user-centered experiences. While collaborating with key engineering and business partners, you will define and drive exceptional user-experience design deliverables across products and initiatives.
The Senior Manager will lead and manage all aspects of talent development, tactical, strategic design direction, and concepts. This role focuses on strategically defining the user experience vision and best practices, tactically providing the best user experience along with leading talents.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead a growing team of Product Designers across different products
  • Strong experience in user experience and leading those efforts
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, business, and technology stakeholders to define a user experience vision and strategy
  • Instill a culture of learning, research, and Design Thinking across the full end-to-end customer journey
  • Adopt a solutions-centric mindset and have a user-centric focus on experiences
  • Inspire, motivate, and lead the UX team to create elegant solutions that are coveted by end-users, adhere to design/accessibility standards and comply with brand strategy
  • Ability to speak to technical constraints, experimentation, product, brand, business and strategy — connecting across disciplines to cultivate collaboration between teams
  • Evangelize and model user experience methodologies and best practices, including, but not limited to:
  • Collect and analyze user behaviors and needs through interviews, surveys, A/B testing, digital experience monitoring and usability testing
  • Develop and maintain documentation of customer journeys, personas and segmentation
  • Prepare, facilitate, and incorporate results from design critiques, design thinking workshops and user testing sessions
  • Create high-fidelity design artifacts (including wireframes, mockups and prototypes) that reflect thoughtful, scalable and intuitive solutions
  • Drive ideas, solutions, and product execution by translating user experience designs into comprehensive design specifications and partnering with IT for delivery
  • Nurture a positive, creative, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages collaboration with constructive and respectful feedback
