We are now looking for a highly reliable, professional and enthusiastic sourcing category head and people leader for the position of (Sr) Manager, Warehouse Sourcing and Operations, EMEA within our EMEA Supply Chain Management Operations unit.
Operations unit further strengthens our operational backbone, supporting the business units’ growth agendas, safeguarding and enhancing optimization of our supply chain operations and cost efficiency. Importantly, it will allow our business units to concentrate on delivering their ambitious commercial agendas.
The role is based at our headquarters Helsinki, Finland, or alternatively in Gdansk, Poland, and will report to the Director, EMEA Logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the sourcing and operations of third-party warehousing, storage, and other logistics services in the EMEA region, ensuring service quality, cost efficiency, and safety.
  • Leading a team of logistics experts.
  • Creating and implementing category strategies, including vendor portfolio and network strategies.
  • Managing and developing vendor performance and relationships through effective governance.
  • Ensuring smooth inventory management procedures in selected warehouse/storage locations and compliance to internal policies.
  • Driving continuous improvement in the area of warehousing/storage services in collaboration with key internal stakeholders and with external vendors.
  • Initiating and implementing new warehouse/storage operations together with the team based on business needs.
  • Owning global warehousing processes, including inventory management models, risk assessment and auditing principles.
  • Providing warehouse/storage process expertize to regions and operational teams across the company.
  • Developing team and organizational capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
