Ensure adherence to warranty Rules of the Road, accounting guidelines and internal controls governing warranty reserves and expenses Develop annual business plans and budgets, and monthly forecasts ensuring operational alignment and buy-in to warranty projections and forecasts, while driving operational warranty cost improvements Manage monthly and quarterly warranty close processes and quarterly external benchmarking analysis Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and success of warranty financials Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with senior leaders in our quality organization, FCSD, finance teams, global data and analytics, and other business units Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex technical warranty accounting concepts into clear, impactful insights for audiences with varying levels of warranty accounting knowledge. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, highly engaged team of warranty finance professionals, fostering a culture of strong controls, continuous improvement, innovation, and agility Established and active employee resource groups Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 10 years of progressive experience in finance, consulting, or operations, with strong analytical skills and business acumen. 5 years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree. Proven experience working closely with executive leadership, demonstrating exceptional executive-level stakeholder management and influencing skills. Superior presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and make compelling recommendations to all levels of the organization. Familiarity with digital finance technologies, including AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), advanced analytics, and modern ERP systems Understanding of financial regulatory compliance standards pertaining to warranty such as SOX, IFRS, and GAAP.
