SR. MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

As a senior manufacturing engineer, your primary responsibilities will be to define and refine all production processes necessary to manufacture products for our customers. This requires deep technical expertise across a variety of manufacturing processes ranging from CNC machining to heat treating to metal forming to material testing. To be successful in this role you need direct experience solving challenging manufacturing problems, identifying and mitigating risks during planning and early manufacturing phases, monitoring production processes and optimizing processes for long-term success.

SKILLS AND PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:

• Exception problem solving abilities
• Deep technical knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes (CNC machining [especially turning], metal forming, heat treating)
• Able to lead and mentor individuals and teams
• Highly proficient with 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks
• Familiarity with or ability to program CNC machines in Mastercam

SKILLS AND PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:

• Proficiency using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant manufacturing experience

• Work with programmers, machinists and operators to develop processes and implement solutions
• Support equipment selection, deployment and troubleshooting
• Analyze production data and lead continuous improvement activities (safety, delivery, cost, efficiency)
• Ensure product conformance by specifying appropriate testing methods and frequencies
• Interface with suppliers and customers
• Assist in training activities
