Description
1. Provide resources and continuous improvements to manufacturing processes. 2. Correct and prevent manufacturing problems related to the process and productivity. 3. Follow up, improve and monitor metrics or capacity measures, such as Yield, Scrap, Productivity, Efficiency. 4. Monitor and control flow of production processes through the development and implementation of the EBS tools. 5. Determine the man-load for the manufacturing lines and provide the equipment, machine and tools required on demand. 6. Design the manufacturing systems Lay-Out. 7. Develop and implement programs to reduce costs and increase efficiency of productivity. 8. Analyze customer complains and develop corrective action plan. 9. Monitor and implement quality standards based on EQS to ensure the certification of standard. 10. Analize and evaluate capital cost metrics: Scrap, rework, etc. 11. Provide training and coordination to the engineering assistants/co-op assigned to the manufacturing lines. 12. Design manufacturing instruction and develop new process in order to provide work procedure and support the goals achievement. 13. Perform an active participation in the Departmental Teams. 14. Support the introduction of new production lines/products. Complete all required documents based on Prolaunch requirements. 15. Develop capital projects appropiations. 16. Update PFMEA tools and Control Plans with unusual conditions of the production process, as specified by the EQS. 17. Mantain monthly updated of VSM, Standard Work and Error Proofing tools. 18. Follow up the Implementation of ECN'S (Engineering Change Notice) aplicable to their areas. Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with MESH Coordinator. Assist to all EHS training assigned. Close the 80% of actions request for safety in their areas.#LI-DG2 1. Bachelor degree of Industrial, Electromechanical or Electrical Engineer. 2. Minimum experience of 3 years in similar positions. 3. Full Bilingual (English / Spanish) 4. PC knowledge: Auto Cad, Access, Minitab and Microsoft Office 5. 6. Knowledge SPC (Statistical Process Control), Lean Manufacturing, Greenbelt, Lead Auditor ISO9001. 7. Knowledge of project management and problem solving techniques. 8. Competencies: Drive for Results, Demonstrates a collaborative style, Makes Decision / Solve Problems, Promotes and Champion changes, Pursues personal development. Manufacturing background is a must
